From the studio.
Monica Hills.
One bright yellow sweatshirt, well worn, bold, and full of character. Emily wanted to turn it into something new for each of her boys.
For her youngest, the brief was simple: the brighter, the better. For the older one, she wanted something a little more grown-up.
Every bit of the original sweatshirt was used, and other sweatshirts added in where extra fabric was needed.
Perfectly matched white and red cuffs with the American flag, and dual colour sleeves where all the yellow material was used up!
Two new sweatshirts, distinct in spirit but undeniably connected.
“I smile every time I see either of my children in their jumpers, I love that the jumper they’re in was once mine.
I would choose to put my toddler in this every time, luckily he’s pretty easy going!
I love that my kids match, both wearing part of my old jumper, so cute!
Family have commented on the uniqueness of the jumpers and they were so impressed when I said that it used to be mine.”
